The Dungeons is one of the capital’s signature attractions, taking visitors on a journey through 1000 years of London’s murky past! They bring together an amazing cast of theatrical actors, special effects, stages, scenes and rides in a (sometimes pitch black) walk-through experience that you see, hear, touch, smell and feel.

Our brief was to produce a promotional film for the attraction capturing the essence of the terrifying and historic experience visitors go through when they enter the Dungeon.

We filming their
 shows, getting up close and personal with all the sinister characters including Jack the Ripper and infamous barber of Fleet Street, Sweeney Todd. The shoot was not without its challenges, most significantly the lack of available light in the Dungeons. The Postproduction involved a couple of reviews as our first cuts were deemed too scary for the audience.

The film now features on the screens at all the Merlin Attractions across the country challenging visitors to come visit at their peril.
