THE PRINCES FOUNDATION
FOR CHILDREN
& THE ARTS:

RESPECT FOR THE ARTS

Children & the Arts was established by HRH The Prince of Wales and engages with disadvantaged children nationwide who do not have access to high-quality arts activity because of either social or economic barriers.

Our brief was to present the work the Charity does in creating long-term partnerships between arts organisations and their local schools as well as the specialist training they employ to empower teachers to bring the inspirational world of the arts into the classroom.

We put together a specialist crew, which included a magician with a unique talent for engaging with large groups of children. Filming took place in London, the Lake District and Aberdeen where the various art-based workshops were held.

The final film received a Royal World Premiere ahead of Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland screening at both of Leicester Square’s Odeons, as well as 26 other cinemas across the UK.

The Prince's Foundation for Children & The Arts

‘BigPlus has created is an invaluable communication tool for us at The Prince’s Foundation for Children & the Arts. It gives life to our projects spanning across the UK and is an effective way for us to communicate with our wide ranging target audiences. They delivered to the agreed brief and have created an accurate portrayal of the work that the foundation delivers on the ground.

It is here, in this film, that the people who directly benefit from Children & the Arts tell the story of the importance that the arts have in a child’s development.’
